Telehealth
Auxilia Health offer face-to-face office sessions, and also face-to-face telehealth (online) sessions and telephone sessions to clients Australia wide.
Telehealth (online or phone sessions) enables clients from anywhere in Australia to access services. Medicare will provide subsidies for telehealth sessions for all Australians with a mental health care plan from your GP. Sessions can be delivered via telephone or secure video-conferencing (like zoom). Telehealth has been studied and shown to be an effective method for delivering psychological treatment. It enables you to access support without needing to leave your home. You will receive a link via email and all that you need to do is click on the link to enter the session.
If you have any questions about how online sessions will be conducted, please call the practice.
NDIS clients are all eligible for fully funded telehealth or in-person services.
DVA (Department of Veterans Affairs) clients are eligible for fully funded telehealth or in-person services.
ADF (Australian Defence Force) clients are eligible for fully funded telehealth or in-person services through BUPA.
TAC (Transport Accident Commission) clients are eligible for fully funded telehealth or in-person services.
There are no gap payments required for DVA, ADF, TAC or NDIS clients.
Some private health insurers will provide cover for telehealth services - please check with your insurer.
