Auxilia Health PSYCHOLOGISTS

Our psychologists are all members of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) which means that consumers can trust that a high standard of practice is maintained. All APS members are required to adhere to a Code of Ethics regarding their practice and behaviour. The APS also require that all members continue to engage in learning and meet requirements regarding on-going professional development.

Evidence-based practices are employed which provide treatment guidelines and ensure that the treatments utilised in sessions have been scientifically studied to be effective. You may discuss the treatment options with your psychologist and together decide which option will best suit your needs.

Medicare rebates are available to assist with service costs. To access the medicare rebate please visit your GP and discuss your needs with them prior to attending your first appointment.

DVA White card holders approved for psychological treatment and Gold card holders are eligible for fully funded sessions. A referral from your GP or psychiatrist is required to access the funding. Please provide your card details when making your appointment.

ADF Current ADF members are fully funded by BUPA to receive psychology services. Please obtain a referral from your treating GP.

NDIS Therapeutic Supports are offered to support individual wellbeing through Improved Daily Living; Assessment, Counselling and Therapy. Further services are available for self-managed or fund managed clients. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

TAC Transport Accident Commission clients may access services using their allocated funding for sessions. Please provide your client details prior to your first appointment.
